About the role

The Product Executive is primarily responsible for assisting the Product department in maintaining positive business relationships between ATS Pacific and its agents.

What you are accountable for:

  • Assist overseas agents with their brochure production by providing rates, package costings and development, advice on product selection, value adds, campaigns and general information.
  • Organise familiarisation trips/site inspections and other travel arrangements for the overseas agents and proactively meet with them/accompany them as required.
  • Advise agents of any product changes to their featured product as required.
  • If not included in the product newsletter, advise agents on any new product or specials suitable for their market.
  • Assist with producing our Agent Newsletter regularly.
  • Assist with organising internal workshops, site inspections for staff and office visits by suppliers.
  • Ensure that all customer complaints and refunds are processed quickly and to the satisfaction of the client and ATS Pacific
  • Working closely with our Contracting and Content Teams to ensure that our system is up to date with relevant information as required.

About you

  • An understanding of the tourism industry, preferably Australian tourism.
  • Tourplan knowledge is preferable.
  • Previous reservations experience.
  • Knowledge of booking and distribution channels.
  • Highly developed clear and professional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with both internal and external clients.
  • An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
