Position Overview
As our new Wholesale Account Manager for New South Wales, you will be representing Viva Holidays, NTIA Winner 2024 of Most Outstanding Wholesaler Product & Service for the second year in a row, to a portfolio of Travel Agents and play a key role in increasing utilization of the in-house wholesale brands (Viva Holidays, ReadyRooms and Cruiseco).
You will be proactive and drive TTV & revenue through your assigned region and portfolio of Key Accounts.
What you’re accountable for?
As the Wholesale Account Manager, you will be accountable for:
- Developing and implementing sales strategy’s supporting business growth for an assigned region of stores.
- Maintaining regular face to face and remote contact via a structured call plan cycle with an assigned region of stores ensuring ongoing achievement of designated sales target levels
- Maintaining and developing a thorough knowledge of all Helloworld Wholesale products and services.
- Agreeing with plans to deliver sales growth along with Regional Manager
- Maintaining CRM/Sales Tracker and accurately report on activity weekly
- Analysing and interpreting sales data and use this analysis to inform sales growth activity
- Representing Helloworld Wholesale at industry functions, events, travel expos, famils and conferences.
About you
To succeed in this role, you need the following:
- 3+ years of travel industry experience, preferably in a field sales role
- Demonstrated experience in a sales role either in a front-line sales capacity within an Agency or selling products and services to the travel agency community.
- Proven track record of building strong relationships with a broad set of stakeholders, including travel agents, owners, preferred partners, and internal stakeholders
- Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and remotely
