Job Description

Your role as Cruise Product Coordinator will support the Cruise Product team in the execution of product initiatives for the Helloworld Travel Group of brands. 

You will ensure cruise group and packaging content is entered into the company’s booking system in an accurate and timely manner. Pivotal to this role is the requirement to maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to increase the speed to market of product to maintain our competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As the Cruise Product Coordinator, your accountabilities will include:

  • Creating cruise packaging combining negotiated cruise fares and land content 
  • Supporting the Cruise Product team with procurement of key products for tactical campaigns
  • Collaborating with Groups Coordinator to highlight special fares or deals
  • Test pricing and ensure offers are loaded and correct for all packages and advise reservations of key selling messages and any other relevant information prior to launch
  • Working with the marketing team to request collateral to support cruise packaging
  • Supporting marketing requests for campaign requirements
  • Ensuring deadlines for stakeholders are met
  • Tracking package performance and profitability
  • Analysing competitor activity and ensure Helloworld are receiving equivalent or better offers for our key suppliers
  • Assisting with database and reservations queries
  • Attending appropriate training sessions where required to upskill knowledge

In order to be successful in this role, you will be able to:

  • Maximise volume and quality of cruise product offered through wholesale channels
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of loaded product entered into database

The ideal Candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Travel and Tourism
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to resolve issues independently
  • Present clear and concise recommendations to senior management
  • Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Detailed knowledge of the travel industry, preferably cruise, and understanding of the wholesale travel market
