A day in the life
As the Land Contracting coordinator (Australia), you will assist with sourcing, negotiating, and reviewing annual contracts for the Inbound and Wholesale brands of Helloworld.
As part of a dynamic contracting team, you will work closely with accommodation, touring, car-hire providers and regional and state tourism organisations.
You will also work closely with the Content and Inventory teams to ensure that they have the rates and availability of products bookable in our leisure booking platforms.
The coordinator also acts as a central point of contact for all departments and supplier enquiries, providing a high level of administration support year-round.
This is a full-time role based in South Melbourne (Normanby Rd) office.
What you’re accountable for:
- Responding to all supplier and internal stakeholder emails sent to the shared contracting inbox.
- Problem solving complex issues and work with suppliers to successfully negotiate the resolution of issues
- Maintaining accurate supplier information
- Communicating product updates to relevant stakeholders as required
- Sourcing and negotiating annual contracts and tactical offers, ensuring clear guidelines are provided to the Content Team for accurate loading
- Sourcing of specials and tactical campaign offers from suppliers in accordance with business needs
- Undertaking ad-hoc projects as required
About you
To succeed in this role, you need:
- Sound understanding of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Outlook
- Good destination knowledge of Australia
- Knowledge of Tourplan
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to problem solve effectively and promptly
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage and meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to influence and deliver results
- Proven team player
