As part of your role, you will be working within Helloworld Travel’s, ‘Express Travel Group’ division.
About the Role:
As the new Sales Manager in QLD, you will achieve monthly and annual sales targets across the allocated region and portfolio. Identify new business opportunities and grow established business through identifying and converting sales.
You will be responsible for:
- Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities for new business through prospecting and identifying potential new members through research, networking, cold calling or other means of generating interest from potential clients or members
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging existing network
- Develop rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship
- Utilise Supplier relationships to identify new Business opportunities via regular targeted meetings
- Retain and grow existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients, and promoting ETG value proposition
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
- Maintain existing relationships and gain commitment and usage of promoted products through outcome based sales activities
- Assist with the establishment of annual and quarterly new business targets and quarterly assessment of business plans against budget achievement and profitability
- Implement strategies provided by the business to maximise new business conversions and existing client business development opportunities
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
- Present and consult with GM on business trends with a view to developing new services, or products, and distribution channels
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
- Review and analyse sales data on a regular basis to ensure appropriate customer targeting and call plans are developed
- Identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators, using knowledge of the market and competitors
About you:
To be successful in the role, you need the following:
- 2-3 Years’ experience in a similar role – specifically within the Travel Industry
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Have a results-oriented mindset
