Position overview
The purpose of this role is to work alongside the NZ Marketing Manager to develop and execute the marketing and promotional activity across our retail brands for Cruise, in line with the company’s strategy. The key outcome of this role is to grow the Helloworld NZ Group cruise presence and share in the NZ market, through a range of innovative and effective marketing initiatives.
You will need exceptional stakeholder management skills, strong communication skills and attention to detail. This role requires a high level of creativity, excellent organisational skills, and a customer centric mindset. Digital communication experience and social media expertise are highly desirable.
The Senior Cruise Marketing Executive position has a key objective of maintaining the integrity of the Helloworld brands and contributing to the delivery of market-leading results to both its members and partners.
What you’re accountable for?
As the Senior Cruise Marketing Executive, you are responsible for Successfully developing and executing the retail marketing activity for our Cruise portfolio to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Be a subject matter expert on Cruise.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment of promotional activity.
- Support colleagues to achieve the flawless execution of campaigns and activities to achieve agreed KPI’s.
- Work with peers to effectively communicate the activities across the organisation in a timely manner.
- Co-ordinate and develop marketing assets, collateral, and other marketing materials to support retail distribution channels, in line with brand guidelines.
- Provide support to retail network members through the creation and delivery of collateral and assets to amplify local area marketing activity. This can include but is not limited to advertising, direct mail, event marketing, sponsorships, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure all content, collateral, information, offers, and creative materials are accurate, ready in a timely manner and understood by network members prior to Local Area Marketing execution.
- Assist NZ Marketing Manager in the completion of Marketing campaign updates and reports in a timely manner.
- Work effectively as part of the marketing team, displaying teamwork principles and positively contributing to the creation of a harmonious work environment.
- Ability to developing strong and mutually beneficial relationships across both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a professional image when representing Helloworld Limited.

Qualifications
Qualifications in Marketing, Business or a related discipline preferred.
Experience
Working knowledge of the cruise industry is essential
- Understanding of marketing distribution channels, processes and performance metrics advantageous.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with a willingness to respond to changes quickly.
- A proven track record in delivering multifaceted projects is required.
- Proactive with a hands on approach and a willingness to work within a team.
- A proven track record in the creation and development of effective campaigns strongly preferred. will be well regarded.
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical skills.
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills are mandatory.
- High degree of professionalism and integrity.
- A strong can do attitude.
