About the role:

Your role as a Senior Graphic Designer is to produce projects from initial concept through to final production. This role is responsible for providing design solutions with high visual impact for Helloworld’s retail and wholesale brands, including Helloworld, GO Holidays, Williment Travel and The Travel Brokers.

Key projects include production of brochures, print and digital marketing elements for brand marketing campaigns and other ad-hoc design projects as required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Working closely with the Marketing Team to assist in the execution and delivery of campaigns.
• Working closely with the NZ Marketing Manager to assist with the execution of proposals. Ensure all deadlines that apply to the business are met.
• Supporting the Marketing Team to achieve flawless execution of campaigns and activities to achieve agreed KPI’s.
• Effectively working as part of the Marketing and Product s Team, displaying teamwork principles and positively contributing to the creation of a harmonious work environment
• Developing strong working relationships with the Product & Marketing Teams, NZ Senior Leadership Team, external partners and suppliers to ensure flawless execution of creative assets, campaigns and brand alignment (where appropriate).
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
• Maintaining a professional image when representing Helloworld Travel Limited at external meeting and functions.

The ideal and Successful candidate will possess the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design
• Recent experience having worked within a Graphic Design role.
• Strong technical knowledge within Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Experience in interpreting design briefs and developing concepts that meet stakeholder expectations, and timelines
• Creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality
• Experience in preparing finished artwork for print
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Strong planning and organisation skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at one time
• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Advanced computer literacy: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Action oriented personality, with a hands-on approach and a willingness to work across multi-functional teams
• Experience with Website and digital design applications
